Military Address Formats

If shipping to a military location please use the following formats to ensure delivery of your package:

For domestic addresses (within the U.S.):

[Rank] [Full Name]
[Unit/Ship Name]
[Unit/PSC Box Number]
[City, State, Zip Code]
APO AE / FPO AE (for Army, Air Force, and Navy, respectively)

For international addresses (overseas locations):

[Rank] [Full Name]
[Unit/Ship Name]
[Unit/PSC Box Number]
APO AE / FPO AE [ZIP Code]
Country Name

Example:

CPT John Doe
HHC 1/75 RGR BN
Unit 100300 Box 8888
APO AE 09114
USA

Key Points to Remember:

  • APO stands for "Army Post Office" (for Army and Air Force).
  • FPO stands for "Fleet Post Office" (for Navy and Marine Corps).
  • AE (Armed Forces Europe), AP (Armed Forces Pacific), and AA (Armed Forces Americas) refer to specific regions.
  • Do not include city names or specific geographic details. The APO/FPO address system takes care of routing to the correct location.
